There are fun projects… and then there are FUN projects.

This one fell into the latter category.

LinkData has been coming to us for their video content for a few years.  When you have that kind of long standing relationship with a client they know they can trust you completely.  Which means you can push the limits of creativity with incredible freedom.

LinkData’s goal was simple - get people excited about their new platform.  And boy did we deliver.

Things always turn out awesome when you mix live action and animation - so, naturally that was the route we had to follow.  This style of hybrid approach lets us stretch in ways strict animation and live action would never allow.

How else do you fire a flaming arrow indoors, fly through a tech tunnel or have UIs hovering above heads?  

Real life actors helped audiences quickly connect with the characters and narrative, while the animations added that spark of cool, creative innovation that kept them interested and sparked their excitement throughout the video.

With an innovative approach, exciting visuals, that trademark Explanimate! flair, and a little cameo from Rhys, the video we created wound up epic and exciting (as all things we create do).  It engaged LinkData’s audience and got them excited to dive into the new platform.
